drink4I hate that I have been flighty with my posts. Between party planning,   housewarmings, and fierce feng shui strategies in my humble abode, I have been busy, or at least felt that way. But in the course of my wannabe Million Dollar Listing staging, I did find time to make some great fall-ish meals and drinks to boot!

Finally, summer has relinquished it’s tyrannical throne and fall has emerged it’s lovely, beautiful head of golden leafed hair. With that, comes meatier dishes with heavy sauces, stews, caramelized apple anything, and drinks that waft with cinnamon fruity deliciousness.
drink6Having said that, let me introduce you to a mulled non-alcoholic beverage (I know, I know, alcohol drinks to come) that will make you feel like all warm and fuzzy. When I let a friend of mine try this once the ‘er’ months began, her response was, “This tastes like Christmas!,” therego, my dutiful stamp of approval on this drink.

The cloves are what do it for me. Cloves have such a distinct aroma that blends in so nicely with the cranberry juice and cinnamon. Give this a go and you’ll sure be settling into a warm fleece blanket with a tummy full of this nostalgic little drink. If you are keen to add a splash of vodka, I would not judge..at least not to your face.
